Classic walnut tincture

Ingredients

  1. Vodka - 1 liter

  2. Young (green) walnuts - 700-800 g

  3. Honey - 50-60 g

The method of preparation

  1. Grind clean dry walnuts, pour them into a jar with vodka and mix.

  2. Close the lid, leave in a warm place for 30 days, periodically shaking the tincture.

  3. Strain the tincture well, mix with honey, filter and pour into a storage container.

Flavored walnut tincture

Ingredients

  1. Vodka - 1 liter

  2. Young (green) walnuts - 500 g

  3. Sugar - 400-500 g

  4. Cherry leaves - 5 pcs.

  5. Cloves - 2-3 grains

The method of preparation

  1. Chop the walnuts, put them in a jar and pour vodka over them, stir.

  2. Insist in a warm place under a lid for 28-30 days, periodically shaking the tincture.

  3. Strain the tincture, add sugar and dissolve completely.

  4. Add clean cherry leaves, clove seeds, close and leave for 14-15 days in a dark place.

  5. Filter the finished tincture well, pour it into dry bottles, tightly cork, store in a dark place.

Tincture of walnut partitions

Ingredients

  1. Vodka - 1 liter

  2. Water - 500 ml

  3. Walnuts - 500 g

  4. Honey - 50 g of honey

The method of preparation

  1. Split the nuts, assemble the partitions and place them in a jar.

  2. Pour vodka, leave at room temperature under a lid for 3 days.

  3. Drain the tincture, mix with cooled boiled water and honey. Stir well, pour into storage bottles and seal. Keep in a dark, cool place.

Liqueur made from walnut shells

The method of preparation

  1. Walnuts, vodka, sugar syrup to taste.

  2. Split clean nuts, remove the kernels, crush the shell finely. Pour the crushed shells into a bottle to 2/3 of the volume of the vessel, pour vodka to the top and close.

  3. Put in a dark place for 60-90 days. Drain the liquid, filter it. Mix with ready-made sugar syrup to taste.

Recipe for walnut liqueur

Ingredients

  1. Green walnuts - 5 pcs.

  2. Sugar - 100-300 g (to taste)

  3. Vodka - 1 liter

The method of preparation

  1. Finely chop green unripe walnuts with the outer shell, pour into a glass bottle, pour vodka, close and leave for 3-4 weeks.

  2. After the expiration of the term, pour the vodka (it will turn dark brown) into another bowl, and cover the nuts with sugar and leave for another 2 weeks until the sugar dissolves.

  3. Pour the resulting walnut syrup into a bowl with the previously drained infusion, stir and leave to clarify for 1 week. Pour the clarified liqueur into bottles.
