The recipe for anise vodka
Ingredients:
750 ml of vodka (it is best to use a neutral vodka such as vodka "classic" or "premium").
2-3 anise sticks (or 2-3 teaspoons of anise seeds).
1 tablespoon of sugar (optional).
Jar or glass bottle for storage.
Instructions:
If you have whole anise sticks, break them into several pieces. If you use anise seeds, you can leave them whole or crush them a little to release the aroma.
Put the anise and sugar in a bottle or jar.
Pour vodka into a bottle with anise and sugar.
Close the bottle or jar tightly with a lid.
Stir the contents well so that the anise is evenly distributed inside the vodka.
Put the bottle in a cool and dark place so that the anise can give off its aroma for several weeks. It is recommended to keep anise vodka for 1 to 3 weeks. During this time, the vodka will acquire a rich anise flavor and aroma.
Before drinking, pour the anise vodka through a sieve or cheesecloth to get rid of the remaining anise and sugar.
Enjoy your anise vodka neat, on the rocks, or used in cocktails.
Please note that anise vodka can be quite strong, so use it with caution. Good luck in making and enjoying anise vodka!
