Fresh pineapple syrup recipe without water

Ingredients

  1. Fresh pineapple juice - 1 cup

  2. Sugar - 1 cup

Method of preparation

  1. Boil pineapple juice and sugar for 2 minutes.

  2. Remove from the pan and place in an airtight container, store in the refrigerator.

  3. It is normal for the syrup to thicken slightly while cooling.

Recipe for pineapple syrup with water

Ingredients

  1. Juice of a large pineapple - 1 pc.

  2. Lime juice - 1 pc.

  3. Sugar - 500 g

  4. Water - 750 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Mix sugar, pineapple and water together in a saucepan and gradually bring to a boil, cook for 20 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  2. Blend the mixture with a blender (be careful, the mixture is hot)!) and put back on low heat for 20 minutes.

  3. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a large bowl to allow as much syrup as possible to accumulate at the bottom of the bowl.

  4. Put the syrup back into the saucepan and cook for about 20-30 minutes, at this point we need to boil the syrup, but not too much so as not to spoil it.

  5. When everything is ready, remove the syrup from the heat and add the lime juice, mix well. Pour into a clean jar and let cool, then store in the refrigerator.
