Escher wine: a brief history and description of the drink

Eshera - natural red semi-dry wine named after the small Abkhazian village of Isabella.

It is made using traditional Abkhazian technology from Isabella grapes. It has a pleasant aroma and taste of strawberries.

Features of production

Abkhazian wines are traditionally divided into "women's" and "men's" wines, although this distinction is rather arbitrary.

It is believed that "ladies'" drinks have a soft, delicate, refined taste, while alcohol for the strong half of humanity is more tart and rich.

Esher's red semi-dry wine belongs to the first category: due to its light berry "character", it is very popular with women.

The drink got its name in honor of the local region, where cheerful, hospitable people live, who have long been engaged in winemaking.

They have been producing table wine since 2002 from a mixture of red varieties. Isabella prevails in the blend.

The Sukhumi plant where the wine is produced is equipped with modern Italian and French equipment.

At the same time, local winemakers do not forget about ancient traditions and try to follow them in the production process.

Modern enameled containers are used for storing drinks, and the best vintage wines are aged in oak barrels.

Finished drinks are poured into Czech-made glass bottles and sealed with a real Portuguese cork.

Description of the drink

  1. Escher wine is characterized by a thick ruby color.

  2. The taste is dominated by a hint of ripe strawberries.

  3. The strength of the drink is about 10%.

Consumers speak positively about it: "wonderful wine", "light (not too intoxicating)", "pleasant taste and aftertaste", "delicious Abkhazian wine with strawberry aroma", "gently relaxes, envelops", "not cloying, with a drop of sourness", "harmoniously balanced berry flavor and astringency", "easy and pleasant to drink"...

It is recommended to chill the drink before drinking: the optimal serving temperature is 16-18 °C.

The wine is harmoniously combined with meat of various kinds (fried, baked, barbecue, game).

Esztera is also fond of cheeses and vegetable dishes. Some use it as an ingredient for sauces and hot drinks.

This wine is one of the best in the budget segment.
