Coffee with rum: 3 recipes at home

Coffee with rum - is an invigorating and tonic alcoholic beverage with a wonderful aroma. It is believed that the Germans were the first to invent the recipe for this cocktail, but it is impossible to confirm or deny this fact. All we know for sure is that this drink will warm you up in the coldest weather and cheer you up even on the gloomiest day.
German recipe for coffee with rum
Ingredients
Ground coffee - 3 teaspoons
Water - 150 ml
Sugar - to taste
Rum - to taste
As a rule, add rum at the rate of 1/3 of the strong drink to 2/3 of the coffee. But these proportions are approximate, each fan of the recipe has his own version.
How to prepare
Heat a Turk, put the powder in it, add water and heat until the foam rises.
Remove the turka from the heat, stir in the coffee, add the sugar, and put it back on the fire.
After the second rise of the foam, stir the drink again and heat it up again. The third time the foam rose? Coffee is ready, let it brew for 2-3 minutes.
Pour coffee into a glass, add a portion of rum to it. Whether to mix or not is an individual matter. The Germans, for example, do not do this. A tradition breaker drinks rum for the whole company.
Coffee recipe with rum and almonds
Ingredients
1 tbsp.л. spiced rum (Cuban rum is best)
50 g of almonds
1.5 tbsp.л. ground coffee
50 ml of whipping cream (33% fat)
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp.л. powdered sugar
A pinch of vanilla
How to prepare
Grind almonds in a coffee grinder into powder.
Divide the egg into yolk and white.
Beat the egg yolk with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar until light and airy (beat with a whisk for 3-5 minutes).
Whip cold cream with vanilla with a whisk until it thickens.
Brew 1.5 tablespoons of aromatic coffee in 100 ml. boiling water in a jezve and heat over low heat. At the first appearance of foam, turn off the heat, remove the dzhezwa (Turk) from the stove and let it brew for 3-4 minutes.
Strain hot coffee through a strainer. Do not pour the coffee to the edges of the cup, leave about 1.5 cm.
Add 1 tablespoon of rum to the coffee.
Pour 2 tablespoons of whipped egg yolks with powdered sugar. The foam may sink to the bottom at first, but it will rise again in a minute.
Pour 2 teaspoons of ground almonds over the foam.
Put unsweetened whipped cream on the almonds, you can use a piping bag. Done!
Recipe with lemon and orange
Ingredients for 4 servings:
450 grams of. of strong black coffee.
1 orange.
1 lemon.
3 tbsp. spoons of rum.
1/3 cup of powdered sugar.
How to cook
To make coffee with rum, cut the orange and half a lemon into thin slices, pour in the coffee and put it on the fire.
When the coffee begins to boil, pour in the rum, add the powdered sugar, and stir. Once the powder has dissolved, remove the coffee from the heat, pour into hot cups.
Cut the remaining half of the lemon into thin slices and garnish the cups with them.
Also, don't forget that you can safely add a variety of spices, berries and fruits to coffee with rum. The only rule to follow is your imagination and taste.
