The difference between wine and wine drink: short and sweet

Vzboltai decided to look into this compassionate question, and what came of it, see below...
Short answer
Wine - a beverage obtained by fermenting fresh grape berries or grape must.
Wine drink - a product that contains something else besides wine raw materials, for example: sugar, alcohol, etc.п. The quality of such products varies, from good to obviously counterfeit. The taste and smell of such alcohol almost always loses to its "older brother".
What is hidden under a wine drink
According to the standard, a wine (non-carbonated or carbonated) beverage must contain at least 50% of wine material. Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs neglect this law, using a much lower percentage, which undoubtedly affects the products.
As a rule, such drinks are produced from the same wine materials as in the production of wines. Although it often happens that "wine" cannot be considered full-fledged for various reasons. This is due to production errors, for example, if the fermented grape juice has acquired an unpleasant odor or taste.
If such a situation occurred at a large enterprise, sometimes the manufacturer simply dilutes the spoiled raw materials with alcohol or ordinary drinking water. In addition, berry or fruit flavors are often added to such material, plus various dyes.
Important!
The inscription "Wine drink" on the bottle label has nothing to do with such concepts as powdered wine and dry alcohol.
Fortified wines and wine drink
Very often, such ordinary wines smell like alcohol, but it's not because they "fix it with the wrong stuff," but because it takes only about a year before it's ready to be bottled, while vintage wines are aged in bottles for three years longer...
Of course, there are always outright bad things like port wine 777 and the like, which, in addition to their distant taste, can cause significant harm to your body...
Pay attention to the price of the wine drink
The price of this product is significantly lower than that of traditional manufactured wine. That is why this drink is very popular among those who are not able to buy more expensive and high-quality wine.
However, despite the low cost, the product can still be relatively aromatic and have decent taste. But this is possible only if the wine drink was made in a conscientious way, that is, the manufacturer did not try to somehow disguise any low-quality or spoiled raw materials.
