Another specialty beer in Amsterdam can be found at Overtoom in the Oud West neighborhood, on the outskirts of Vondelpark.

Housed in a former distillery built in 1690, this authentic establishment has retained its old-world charm and is now one of the best beer bars in Amsterdam with more than 200 bottles of beer and about 18 beer taps.

Butcher's Tears
A small, trendy brewery has taken its place on Amsterdam's beer trail after setting up shop in an industrial canal next to the Amsterdam Zuid, not far from the Olympic Stadium.
Every evening, except Monday and Tuesday, the doors of the hall open from 16:00 to 21:00, which allows beer lovers to taste a tasting assortment of beers with different names, including "Lipreader", "Ditchwitch" and "The Flying Bed"... The brewery also hosts regular concerts and events.

Jopenkerk
Only 20 minutes by train you will find yourself in Haarlem, the capital of North Holland, where the Jopen brewery is located.
Located in the city center in a former church building, Jopen is a modern brewery, café and restaurant that brings the city's brewing traditions to life.
Open for lunch and dinner, it is a place where you can relax and have a delicious drink while watching the brewing process from a bird's eye view. They have two other locations, the Jopenkerk distillery in Hofddorp and the Proeflokaal Jopen (Jopen tasting room) in Waarderpolder.

Poesiat & Kater
Poesiat & Kater is a brewery in East Amsterdam.
The trick is a special beer that is brewed right in front of you and then goes straight to the bar's taps. This way you always drink fresh beer.
The brewery is located in a beautiful late 19th century building with high ceilings and large windows. In winter you can sit in front of the fireplace, and in summer there is a large terrace with sun all day long. We have our own kitchen with themed food.
What to try first: Extra Stout Original (Stout) and traditional Van Vollenhoven beer.

The brewery is located in the west of Amsterdam. The trick is in the approach of brewing beer.
Six of their beers are brewed all year round with an additional seasonal beer that changes seven times a year. These beers are interesting and have a unique combination of flavors.
Beer from this company can be purchased directly from the brewery or in stores throughout the Netherlands.
Visitors can book a brewery tour where they will taste beer and local cheese. Prices are around 20 euros per person. And as a special treat, you and your friends can brew your own beer with the help of an experienced brewer.
