Classic recipe for cranberry tincture

This recipe is about 200 years old. It is still very popular today because it is quick and easy to prepare.

The result is a rich, flavorful drink with a strength of about 30-35 degrees.

Ingredients

  1. Cranberries - 1 kg

  2. Vodka - 1 liter

  3. Granulated sugar - 500 g

The method of preparation

  1. We sort the berries, wash them, dry them a little and knead them with our hands or with a wooden rolling pin. You can also use a meat grinder or blender to speed up the process.

  2. Transfer the prepared mass to a glass container and pour vodka. Leave for two weeks in a warm place.

  3. After two weeks, strain the drink and add sugar.

  4. After mixing well, close the lid and continue to insist for another week.

  5. Now we pass the finished drink through a filter several times, bottle it, cool it and start tasting it.

Ingredients

  1. Cranberries - 2 glasses

  2. Vodka - 1 liter

  3. Honey - 1.5 cups

The method of preparation

  1. Sort the berries, wash them, dry them a little and mash them with your hands or with a wooden rolling pin.

  2. Put the prepared mass into a glass container and pour vodka. Leave for 10 days in a warm place.

  3. After infusing the drink, filter and add honey.

  4. Shake the container with the tincture well and send it to a cool place for aging. It will take us about 1-2 months for this stage.

  5. Then filter the finished drink again and bottle it.

  6. A fragrant cranberry tincture can be served at the table.

Cranberry tincture "Just a glass"

Ingredients

  1. Cranberries - 1 cup

  2. Vodka - 1 glass

  3. Sugar - 1 cup

  4. Water - 1 glass

The method of preparation

  1. Cook from water and granulated sugar simple syrup.

  2. While it is cooling, prepare the cranberries in any convenient way, which is described here.

  3. Pour the syrup into a glass jar, then pour in the alcoholic base and at the very end add the crushed berry.

  4. Cover and leave for a month in a dark room at room temperature.

  5. After a month, strain the finished tincture, squeeze out the cake, and then pass it through a purchased or homemade filter 2-3 times.

  6. After bottling the drink, put it in the refrigerator, and then directly on the table for a good snack.

Quick cranberry tincture (in 3 hours)

Ingredients

  1. Cranberries - 300 g

  2. Sugar - 150 g

  3. Vodka - 700 ml

  4. Water - 300 ml

Cooking method

  1. Put the cranberries in a colander and pour boiling water over them.

  2. Now pour the berries into a jar, add sugar and crush with a wooden spoon or spatula.

  3. Then pour vodka and leave for about two hours at room temperature.

  4. After the time has elapsed, strain the finished cranberry tincture, squeeze out the pulp, add warm water (45 degrees) to it and pass it through a filter several times.

  5. After the drink has cooled completely, you can drink it. But it is better to cool it first.

  6. This product can be stored for about a year in the refrigerator or cellar.

Cranberry liqueur recipe

Ingredients

  1. Cranberries - 3 cups

  2. Sugar - 500 g

  3. Cloves - 1-2 buds

  4. Cardamom - 2-3 seeds

  5. Alcohol or vodka - 750 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Put the cranberries in a jar, mash them, pour alcohol or vodka, close the lid tightly and leave for 3-4 days.

  2. Then strain the contents of the jar and squeeze through cheesecloth in 4-5 layers.

  3. Mix the resulting liquid with sugar, put on fire and heat, but do not bring to a boil.

  4. Remove from heat and dip cloves and cardamom wrapped in cheesecloth into it.

  5. After 5 minutes, strain the liquor and bottle it. Store in a cool place.

Simple cranberry liqueur

Ingredients

  1. Vodka - 500 ml (or alcohol diluted in half with water),

  2. Water - 150 ml

  3. Sugar - 150 g

  4. Cranberries - 145 g

The method of preparation

  1. Rinse the cranberries, let the water drain well, mash them.

  2. Put in a jar, pour vodka or alcohol, leave under a lid in a dark place for 7 days at room temperature, then strain well.

  3. Boil sugar syrup with water and sugar, cool slightly.

  4. Mix the cranberry tincture with sugar syrup, pour it back into the jar and close the lid.

  5. Leave for another 1 day. Strain, pour into storage bottles.
