Tangerine liqueur: 5 recipes at home

Tangerine liqueur is a bright orange color with a rich taste and aroma.
Tangerines of any variety are suitable for making liqueur, and vodka, food alcohol or high-quality odorless moonshine can be used as an alcoholic base.
Tangerine liqueur with vodka
Ingredients
Tangerines - 700 g
Vodka - 500 ml
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.
Sugar - 250 g
Water - 300 ml
Vanillin - 1 pinch
The method of preparation
Scald the tangerines with boiling water and then rinse them thoroughly under running water to get rid of the wax that covers the fruit to extend the shelf life.
Cut the tangerines into 1 cm thick slices and put them in a glass jar.
Add vanilla to the fruit and pour vodka. Leave for a week in a dark place.
After 7 days, strain the tincture, during which time it has become a rich orange color.
Cook basic sugar syrup with lemon juice.
After it has cooled, mix it with tangerine tincture.
Leave for another week in a cool, dark place before tasting.
Original tangerine liqueur
Ingredients
Tangerines - 7 pieces.
Alcohol (45%) - 500 ml
Cinnamon stick - 1 pc.
Water - 150 ml
Granulated sugar - 100 g
The method of preparation
Repeat step 1 from of the first recipe.
Remove the zest from the prepared fruit in a way convenient for you and transfer it to a glass container. And put the pulp in a bag and send it to the refrigerator.
Add cinnamon to the zest, alcohol base and leave for a week in a warm place.
After 7 days, strain the tincture.
Then squeeze the tangerine juice and cook the simple sugar syrup with the use of citrus juice.
After the tangerine syrup has cooled, mix it with the tincture and bottle it.
Before tasting, keep the finished drink for 2 weeks in a cool place.
If a sediment falls out, then the tangerine liqueur must be passed through a filter and you can start tasting.
Mandarin liqueur with orange peel
Ingredients
Tangerine juice - 1.5 cups
Orange zest - 2 oranges
Vodka - 200 g
Water - 100 ml
Granulated sugar - 2/3 cup
The method of preparation
Pour tangerine juice into a saucepan, add grated orange zest and bring to a boil.
Mix the cooled citrus mix with the alcoholic base and leave for 3 days in a dark place.
After the required time has passed, strain the citrus tincture.
Cooking a classic sugar syrup and cool to room temperature.
Mix the syrup with tangerine orange liqueur.
Pour the finished liquor into a bottle and keep it in a dark place for 30 days before tasting.
An alternative recipe for tangerine liqueur
Ingredients
Vodka - 250 ml
Water - 50 ml
Sugar - 350 g
Medium tangerine - 15 pieces.
Lemon - 2 pieces.
Cinnamon slices and cloves - to taste
The method of preparation
Wash the citrus fruits, pat dry and remove the top layer of the peel (without the white layer) with a thin knife.
Chop the peel into strips, put it in a large jar or bottle with spices and pour vodka.
Close well, keep in a dark place for about 45 days.
Carefully pour off the tincture, strain.
Preparation sugar syrup, cool, mix with tincture and pour into bottles. Store in a cool place.
Tangerine liqueur (on the peel)
Ingredients
Mandarin - 15 pieces.
Lemon - 2 pieces.
cloves - 5-6 buds
Cinnamon - a pinch
Sugar - 850 g
Alcohol - 250 ml
The method of preparation
Wash the citrus fruits, pat dry and remove the top layer of the peel (without the white layer) with a thin knife.
Put the thinly sliced tangerine peel together with lemon peel, a little cinnamon and cloves into a bottle and pour alcohol.
After 5-6 weeks, strain this essence and mix it with a cooled thick syrup made from 850 g of sugar.
Filter and bottle the liquor. Let stand for at least 2 weeks. The drink is ready.
