Easy recipe for mango syrup

Ingredients

  1. Large mango - 1 pc.

  2. Sugar - 2 cups

  3. Water - 2 cups

  4. Vanilla extract - 1 tsp. (optional)

The method of preparation

  1. Peel the peel of the mango and core it.

  2. Put the mango and water in a blender, whisk until smooth.

  3. Add the mixture to a saucepan, pour water and vanilla extract (optional), cook over medium heat until thickened

  4. Let cool, then pour into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. Guaranteed shelf life - 2 weeks.

An alternative recipe for mango syrup

Ingredients

  1. Mango - 4 pieces.

  2. Sugar - 3 cups

  3. Lime juice - 3 tbsp. л.

Cooking method

  1. Remove the peel from the mango, pit it, cut it into small pieces.

  2. In a saucepan with a little water, cook the mango slices, the fruit should become soft, then whip the mixture in a blender.

  3. Add sugar and lime juice to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat to a minimum, do not forget to stir frequently. Cook for 10 minutes.

  4. Foam may appear during cooking, remove it with a spoon.

  5. Optionally, you can strain the syrup, but it is not necessary.

  6. Remove the syrup from the heat, stir and pour into bottles with a tight lid.
