Liqueurs made from spices: 5 recipes at home

Spices, spices, zest, herbs and grains are used to create flavored drinks. It is almost impossible to find such products on sale, but any housewife can do it herself.
The preparation process does not involve complex culinary operations, and the taste of the original liqueurs is delicate and refined, appropriate for any table.
Recipe for clove liqueur
This drink will well complement a gala dinner and will be appropriate for the New Year's celebration.
Ingredients
Water - 0.5 liters
Vodka - 1.3 liters
Lemon zest - 1 g
Sugar - 0.3 kg
Solid cinnamon - 2 g
Cloves - 13 pcs.
Method of preparation
Rinse the cinnamon and cloves, let dry, crush slightly, pour into a vessel with vodka.
Grind the zest, throw it into alcohol.
Prepare the sugar syrup. Slowly add vodka to the syrup while it is still warm.
Close the vessel and let it sit for at least 2-3 weeks.
After infusion, pass the liqueur through the filter, pour it into a bottle without filling it to the top, seal it.
Leave to mature for 3 to 5 weeks and place the drink in small containers.
Recipe for cardamom liqueur
Ingredients
Vodka - 1.3 liters
Boiled water - 0.5 liters
Cardamom - 30 g
Sugar - 0.4 kg
The method of preparation
Pour cardamom into a vessel with vodka, keep warm for 15-20 days.
Prepare sugar syrup, leave to cool.
Pass the tincture through a cloth filter, add to the chilled syrup.
Pour the drink into a fresh bottle without filling it to the top, cork it.
Leave to mature in the warmth for about 25-30 days.
Pass the infusion through a filter, distribute it into smaller vessels.
Liqueur on lemon zest
Use freshly cut zest to create the drink.
Ingredients
Vodka - 1 liter
Water - 0.5 liters
Lemon zest - 0.3 kg
Sugar - 0.4 kg
The method of preparation
Put the zest in a glass container, pour alcohol, transfer to heat for 3 months.
Prepare the sugar syrup.
Drain lemon infusion, add syrup to it, mix.
Pass the finished product through cotton wool and place in a large bottle.
Seal the neck, transfer the liquor to warm conditions for 1 month.
Gently drain without shaking and distribute in small containers.
Liqueur "Cumin"
Ingredients
Vodka - 1 liter
Water - 0.75 liters
Cumin (seeds) - 80 g
Sugar - 0.6 kg
The method of preparation
Pour the cumin into vodka, place in heat for 2-3 weeks.
Prepare sugar syrup, add to the caraway infusion.
Shake the liquid, gently pass through a multi-layer cheesecloth filter.
Distribute the drink in small containers, without filling to the top, seal the vessels, leave in the heat for about a month.
Strain it again, put it in bottles, put it in the cold.
Liqueur "Tea"
Prepare the sweet syrup in advance (before adding it to the drink) by combining and boiling a mixture of water and sugar (in a 2:3 ratio). Cool and strain the resulting liquid.
Ingredients
Sugar syrup - 3,5 л
Cognac - 700 ml
Dry black tea - 25 g
Citric acid - 5 g
Vanillin - a pinch
The method of preparation
Pour tea into cognac, shake, close, leave for 11-12 days.
Pass the infusion through a filter, add sugar syrup, season with vanilla and citric acid.
Gently knead the mixture, pour it into vessels, seal, move to the cold and wait at least 3 months before tasting.
