Jasmine syrup: recipe at home

The aromatic scent of jasmine just makes you want to make a syrup out of it and preserve this magical aroma for the whole winter.
This syrup is suitable for desserts, ice cream, and for sophisticated alcoholic cocktails.
Ingredients
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 2 cups
Jasmine flowers - 1 cup
The method of preparation
Rinse the jasmine flowers gently.
Bring water to a boil, then add sugar. Stir until all the sugar is dissolved.
Turn off the heat and add the jasmine flowers.
Cover and let stand for 2 to 3 hours.
Place the sieve in a bowl and pour off the liquid.
Pour into a bottle with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator until needed.
