Jasmine syrup: recipe at home

The aromatic scent of jasmine just makes you want to make a syrup out of it and preserve this magical aroma for the whole winter.

This syrup is suitable for desserts, ice cream, and for sophisticated alcoholic cocktails.

Ingredients

  1. Sugar - 1 cup

  2. Water - 2 cups

  3. Jasmine flowers - 1 cup

The method of preparation

  1. Rinse the jasmine flowers gently.

  2. Bring water to a boil, then add sugar. Stir until all the sugar is dissolved.

  3. Turn off the heat and add the jasmine flowers.

  4. Cover and let stand for 2 to 3 hours.

  5. Place the sieve in a bowl and pour off the liquid.

  6. Pour into a bottle with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator until needed.
