Maker’s Mark - premium bourbon with its own history and traditions. The company was founded in 1840 in Kentucky, and today it is considered the oldest distillery in the city.
The history of Maker's Mark bourbon
More than 100 years passed before the world learned about a new type of bourbon. Bill Samuel bought the distillery in 1943. He worked on creating the original bourbon for a long eight years. To get an incredible taste and the perfect ratio of grain in it, he baked bread, changing different combinations, and the recipe for the most delicious bread was used to make bourbon.
This is how Maker was born in 1958’s Mark, in the original bottle, which was designed and developed by Bill's wife.
This bourbon can be recognized by the red wax that runs down the neck of the bottle.
