The term "punch" refers to a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages that usually contain fruit or fruit juices.
The drink was brought from India to the United Kingdom in the early seventeenth century, and from there its use spread to other countries.
Punch is usually served at parties in large and wide containers, cold or warm.
Tips before you start
Use fresh and beautiful berries and fruits for punch. Some of the berries can be crushed to add flavor to the drink.
If you make cold punch, make sure you have enough ice. Additionally, it is appropriate to put a bucket of ice separately, but do not forget to add ice spikes.
You don't have to use a bowl for punch. Any container that fits a scoop or is easy to pour into a glass will do, for example, some Americans serve punch in a barrel!
There should be plenty of fruits and berries. Do not be stingy, because this is the main feature of punch!
Do not strain yourself. Punch is easy, add whatever you like and get creative with your taste.
Try before serving to guests. If you do not like the taste, there is a high probability of a similar reaction from your guests - the party is ruined.

Punch recipe with apples, oranges and lemons
Ingredients
Apple juice - 2 cups
Orange juice - 1/2 cup
Ginger ale - 2 cups
Lemonade - 3 cups
Vodka - 2/3 cup of vodka
Fresh strawberries - 125 g (peeled and diced)
Ice - 10-18 cubes

Mix apple juice, orange juice, dry ginger ale and lemonade in a large container.

Fresh strawberries - 500 g
Lemonade - 3 cups

Method of preparation
Place 250 grams of strawberries in a blender and whisk until smooth.
Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a punch bowl or serving pitcher.
Cut the remaining strawberries into cubes and add to the container.

Fruit punch with white wine
Ingredients
Water - 1 glass
Orange juice - 1.5 cups
Apple juice - 1.5 cups
Pineapple or apricot juice - 2 cups
White wine - 1.5 cups
Lemonade - 1 liter
Ginger beer - 500 ml
Sugar - 1.5 cups
Summer berries and fruits - 1.5 cups

Apple juice - 500 ml
Orange juice - 370 ml
Ginger ale - 500 ml
Lemonade - 750 ml
Vodka - 200 ml

Pour apple, orange juice and lemonade into a deep container.
Pour vodka into the mixture and refrigerate for a while.

Honey - 3 tbsp. л.
Soda - ½ cup
Semi-sweet champagne - 1 bottle

Squeeze the juice from the citrus pulp.
Add honey and soda to it.
Freeze the mixture in the freezer.

Classic warm punch with rum

Black tea - 2 tsp.
Sugar - 3 tbsp.
Water - 750 ml
Dark rum - 350 ml

Boil water and let it cool slightly. Then brew the tea and leave it for 15 minutes to steep.
Remove the brew. Squeeze the juice of a lemon into the tea, pour in the alcohol and add sugar.
Pour the mixture into a deep container and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
After preparing the punch with rum, the recipe calls for serving it warm in porcelain or ceramic cups.
Recipe for warm apple punch
Ingredients
Apple juice - 250 ml
Dry red wine - 350 ml
Apple - 1 piece.
Cinnamon - 2 sticks or 2 tsp.
Star anise - 1 pc.
Dry cloves - 2 buds
Sugar - 2 tbsp. л.
Cognac, brandy or apple calvados - to taste.
Method of preparation
Peel and core the apple and cut it into slices. You can cut off the peel of the apple if you want, but choose a hard variety.
Heat the red wine to almost boiling point.
Put the apple, spices and honey in it.
Pour strong alcohol into the mixture and cook over low heat for a few minutes.

Recipe for cherry punch
Ingredients
Rum - 300 ml
Cherry juice - 300 ml
Sugar - 2-3 tbsp.

Ginger - a pinch
Cloves - to taste

Pour the cherry juice into a saucepan.
Add sugar and spices to it.
Heat until the sugar dissolves.
Squeeze the juice from the lime and add it to the mixture.

Brew strong black tea and leave it to infuse.
Cut the zest from the lemon, grind it and add it together with the spices.
Insist the mixture for an hour.
Mix the yolks and powdered sugar in a blender.
Add alcohol and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the tea.
Put it on low heat and add the egg yolks to it.
Serve in tall glasses, garnish with chocolate shavings.
Sea buckthorn punch
Ingredients
Cognac or brandy - 60 ml
Sea buckthorn jam - 60 g
Honey - 60 g
Green tea - 400 ml
Lemon - 2 slices
Lime - 2 wedges

Brew green tea and let it brew.
Strain it and put the honey in it.
Add sea buckthorn jam and alcohol.
Put the citrus inside and garnish the glass with one lemon slice.
Cranberry punch

Cranberry juice - 250 ml
Hot water - 400 ml
Add rum - 50 ml
Lemon zest - 1 tbsp.
Fresh cranberries - 300 g
Cherry vodka - 100 ml
Sugar - 2 tbsp.
Cinnamon - 2 sticks or 2 tsp.

Put the cranberry juice and alcohol on low heat.
Add sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
Put the whole cranberries in the mixture with the spices.
Heat to boiling point, then reduce heat and cook for 2 minutes.
Leave it to brew for 10 minutes.
Strain the liquid through a strainer and pour in the water.

Ginger punch
Ingredients
Ginger - 80 g
Sugar - 1 cup
Tea - 1 cup
Water - 150 g
Red wine - 600 ml
Lemon - 20 g
Cloves - to taste

Peel the ginger from the coarse shell, cut into slices and cook over low heat without boiling.
Add the spices and sugar. Cook the syrup for 10 minutes.
Strain the liquid.
Heat the wine and add freshly squeezed lemon juice to it.
Combine wine, tea and ginger syrup in a large container.
Heat the glasses before serving.
Raspberry punch
Ingredients
Water - 1 liter
Raspberry syrup - 1 glass
Lemon - 1 piece.
Black tea - 5 tsp. (for 1 cup)
Rum - ½ cup
Cognac or brandy - ½ cup

Brew strong tea and leave it to steep for a while.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook over low heat until 60-70°C.
