The liquor turns out to be quite sweet, but if you prefer alcohol with a lower sugar content, then, accordingly, during the cooking process, its amount must be reduced.

Tips before you start
To prepare the liqueur, you can use different alcohol: food alcohol, vodka, chacha, simple or fruit moonshine.
Ready-made homemade chokeberry liqueur is best served over ice or as an addition to hot tea.
Each of the five proposed recipes involves preliminary processing of berries, which includes:
Ridding black mountain ash berries of ridges and spoiled fruits.
Thorough rinsing of chokeberry fruits under running water.
Easy drying with paper towels to help get rid of excess water.
Liqueur from chokeberries with the addition of cherry leaves
Ingredients
Chokeberry - 1 kg
Cherry leaves - 200 g
Food alcohol (95,6%) - 1 л
Sugar - 400 g
Water - 500 ml
Honey - 100 g
Vanilla extract - 1.5 tsp. л
Cloves - 4 pcs.
Lemon - 2 pieces.
The method of preparation
Pour the prepared prunes into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and add cherry leaves, water, lemon zest and half the sugar.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then continue to cook over low heat for another 40 minutes.
Then remove the broth from the heat and leave for a day at room temperature.
The next day, it must be filtered and the remaining sugar added and heated a little so that it dissolves completely.
After the broth has cooled, add lemon juice and honey to it, mix, and then pour it into a glass container.
Then pour in the alcoholic component and add spices. Let it brew for 4 months in a cool, dark place.
Then drain the finished drink from the sediment and filter.
Before tasting, bottle the liqueur and keep it in the refrigerator for a few more days.
A simple chokeberry chokeberry aronia liqueur
The amount of ingredients must be calculated based on the volume of the container.
Ingredients
Berries of chokeberry
White crystal sugar
Grape alcohol 60%
Oak bark - 1 pinch
Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation
Pour the prepared berry into a 3-liter jar for 3/4 of its volume and add white sugar, about 1/10 of the volume of chokeberry.
Close the container with a lid and leave for 4-5 days in a cool place.
Then throw in the oak bark, citric acid and pour grape alcohol, chacha or any other fruit moonshine to the top. Let it brew for 30 days in a cool, dark place.
After a month, drain the tincture, and re-fill the berries with the same amount of granulated sugar as the first time. After that, leave the jar at room temperature for another 4-5 days, and then drain the resulting syrup and mix it with the chokeberry tincture.
Now pass the finished liqueur through a filter and bottle it.
Allow 1-2 months for aging before tasting.
Spicy liqueur made from chokeberry
Ingredients
Black chokeberry berries - 1 kg
Food alcohol (95,6%) - 1 л
Vodka - 1 л
Ginger root (dried) - 3 cm
Cardamom - 3 seeds
Vanilla pod - 1 pc.
The method of preparation
Pour the prune into a glass container, add all the ingredients and pour in the prepared alcohol.
Insist the liqueur in a cool, dark place for 3 weeks.
Then strain it through a sieve and filter it through a homemade or purchased filter.
Bottle the finished drink and let it rest for 6 months in a cool, dark place.
Then the liqueur can be served to the table.
Fragrant black mountain ash liqueur with honey
Ingredients
Black mountain ash - 1 kg
Honey - 500 g
Food alcohol (95,6%) - 1 л
Vodka - 1 л
Granulated sugar - 200 g
The method of preparation
Pour the berries into a glass jar and mash them with a wooden spoon, then add granulated sugar and leave at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
When the juice is formed, pour in honey and prepared alcohol.
Thoroughly mix the contents of the container and transfer it to a dark, cool room for 1.5 months.
After infusion, carefully drain the drink from the sediment, filter it several times and bottle it.
The finished tincture must be kept in a cool place for several months, and then start tasting.
Blackcurrant liqueur "99 leaves" on moonshine
Ingredients
Black chokeberries - 250 g
Cherry leaves - 33 pcs.
Raspberry leaves - 33 pcs.
Blackcurrant leaves - 33 pcs.
Sugar - 200 g
Moonshine - 500 ml
Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Water - 800 ml
Method of preparation
Put the pre-prepared berries and leaves in a saucepan, add water and bring the mixture to a boil. Then cook over low heat for another 30 minutes.
After that, strain the broth through a sieve into a separate container and add citric acid and granulated sugar to it. Mix thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
As soon as the syrup has cooled to room temperature, pour in the vodka and leave the drink in a cool dark place for 1-2 weeks.
After the specified time, the finished liquor must be filtered and bottled.
Liqueur of chokeberry and apples
Ingredients
Black chokeberry berries - 400 g
Antonov apples - 400 g
Sugar - 400 g
Honey - 1 tbsp.
Water - 1 liter
Vodka - 700 ml
The method of preparation
Peel the berries from the roots and rinse them well.
Grate apples on a coarse grater or chop finely.
Bring water and sugar to a boil. Then pour in the rowan, and after 5 minutes add the apple mixture and cook for another 5 minutes.
Then remove the pan from the heat, let the mixture cool, and then pour into a jar, add vodka, close the lid and leave in a dark place at room temperature.
Stir the mixture 2-3 times a week. After 3 weeks, strain and squeeze the mixture through cheesecloth in 4-5 layers.
Filter the resulting liquid through a thick cloth, add honey, pour into a jar and leave for another 1 week.
Carefully pour the finished liqueur into bottles without touching the sediment and let it brew for another month. The liqueur is ready.
If sediment falls out, pour the liquor carefully into new containers, it is important not to touch the sediment.
