Canary liqueur: an overview of flavors and types + how to drink

Canari (Canary) - another representative of classic liqueurs. At first glance, it does not differ from other drinks in this category. This is not surprising, because most manufacturers produce unsuccessful copies of famous brands, but at the same time forget about the quality and, most importantly, the taste of the product.

The history of the creation of Canary liqueur

Henkell Corporation & Co. Sektkellerei KG is a German company that produces wine, sparkling wine and spirits. It was founded by Adam Henkell in 1907. We will not go into the details of the formation and development of the corporation, but will move forward 83 years.

It was at this time in 1990 that the HENKELL representative office was opened in Poland (Torun) & CO. Torun wine cellars of HENKELL & CO. Polska Sp. z o o. o. specialized in the production of wine products: sparkling wines, table wines, dessert wines and vermouth.

Over time, the company's portfolio has expanded to include other spirits, including gin, vodka, brandy, ready-made cocktails and liqueurs (Canari, Nalewka Babuni and Dalkowski Advocaat).

For a long time, Kanari was produced exclusively in Poland, until in 2007 the Kyiv Stolichnyi Champagne Factory joined the Henkell group of companies & Co and since then, liqueurs of this brand have been produced in Ukraine as well.

This turn did not affect the quality of the drink, but only prompted the development and expansion of the line of flavors and aromas.

Types and features of Canary liqueur

Initially, the Canari line of liqueurs included exclusively cream liqueurs, and after 2007, fruit and berry novelties appeared.

The strength of the liqueurs is 15 degrees, and they are available in small 350 ml bottles.

The production process uses classical technology and natural ingredients without the use of synthetic additives.
