The process of preparing the tincture is quite simple, but it takes time for the berries to fully saturate the drink with taste, aroma and beneficial properties.

Classic tincture of chokeberry

Berries can be reused in this recipe. The drink of the second infusion will be softer, but no less tasty and rich.

Ingredients

  1. Berries must be sorted, rinsed thoroughly and dried slightly with paper towels.

Ingredients

  1. Black mountain ash - up to the shoulders of 3 liters

  2. Food alcohol (40-50%) - 500 ml

  3. Lemon (large) - 3 pcs.

  4. Granulated sugar - 200 g

  5. Water - 200 ml

The method of preparation

  1. Berries must be sorted, rinsed thoroughly and dried slightly with paper towels.

  2. Then fill them into a 3-liter jar up to the shoulders.

  3. Now add water, granulated sugar, lemon juice (from 3 lemons) and pour in the alcohol component. Insist for three weeks in a cool, dark place, and to completely dissolve the sugar, the jar must be shaken periodically.

  4. After infusion, strain the finished drink twice through a fine strainer and then pour into glass bottles.

  5. Before tasting, leave the tincture in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks to stabilize the taste.

Simple recipe for chokeberry tincture

Ingredients

  1. Fresh chokeberry - 1 kg

  3. After 4-5 months, the finished drink must be carefully drained from the sediment, and then passed through a purchased or homemade filter.

  4. Pour the chokeberry tincture into bottles and leave it for another 2 weeks in a cool place to "rest".

Ingredients

  1. Chokeberry - 1 cup

  2. Red mountain ash - 1 glass

  3. Honey - 2-3 tbsp.

The method of preparation

  1. Put the berries of both types of mountain ash together with the tails in a jar, pour vodka, add honey, close tightly and leave for 15 days in a dark place.

  2. Then strain, filter and bottle.

Black cherry tincture with cherry flavor

Ingredients

  1. Chokeberry berries - 1 cup

  2. Cherry leaves - 100 pcs.

  3. Sugar - 1/3 cup

  4. Water - 1.5 liters

  5. Vodka - 700 ml

  1. It is advisable to use fresh cherry leaves, but you can harvest them in the summer and then freeze them. In extreme cases, young cherry twigs can be used instead of leaves.

  2. Wash chokeberry berries and cherry leaves, dry them, put them in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil and boil for 15 minutes, then strain, add sugar and stir until it dissolves...

  4. Citric acid - 1 tbsp.

  2. Then add citric acid, and after 1-2 minutes remove from heat and let cool.

  3. Strain the broth, pour in vodka, filter, bottle and cork.
