Cherry plum liqueur: 5 recipes at home

The color of the finished liqueur depends on the color of the berries, you can safely combine different varieties to get unique shades.
It is not necessary to remove the seeds from the cherry plum, but if you have free time and desire, you can do this laborious process (this does not affect the taste of the finished drink).

Classic cherry plum liqueur
The strength of the finished drink will range from 23-28 degrees.
Ingredients
Cherry plum - 2 kg
Granulated sugar - 600 g
Vodka - 500 ml
The method of preparation
Cherry plum must be thoroughly washed, removed spoiled berries and dried a little.
Put cherry plum and granulated sugar in layers in a glass container. Let it brew for 2 weeks in a dark place at room temperature, remembering to shake the contents of the container every 3 days.
After the specified time, pour the syrup from the cherry plum into another container, and pour the berries with an alcoholic base (the cherry plum should be completely covered with vodka). Insist 2 weeks in a cool, dark place, and store the cherry plum syrup in the refrigerator.
After 14 days, strain the tincture through a sieve and mix it with cherry plum syrup.
Filter the finished cherry plum liqueur through a purchased or homemade filter and pour into glass bottles.
Before tasting, let the taste stabilize for a week in the refrigerator. Store the finished product in a cool dark place for no more than 3 years.
Flavored cherry plum liqueur
Ingredients
Cherry plum - 450 g
Granulated sugar - 240 g
Vodka - 500 ml
Cloves - 3 pcs.
Cinnamon - half a stick (you can use ground)
The method of preparation
Cherry plum must be thoroughly washed, removed spoiled berries and pierced with a toothpick in several places.
Put the prepared cherry plum berries in a glass container, add sugar, cloves, cinnamon and pour vodka. Insist in a dark place for 3 months, shake the jar once every 2-3 days.
After the specified time, filter the cherry plum liqueur through a filter.
Pour into glass bottles and leave for another 14 days.
Store the finished product in the refrigerator or cellar.
Cherry plum liqueur with white rum
Ingredients
Cherry plum - 900 g
White rum - 750 ml
Granulated sugar - 500 g

Wash the cherry plum thoroughly, remove any spoiled berries and pierce it with a toothpick in several places.
Put the prepared cherry plum in a glass container, add sugar and pour the alcohol base. Let it stand in a dark place for 4 months, the first 30 days you need to shake the contents of the container daily.
After infusion, the finished drink must be filtered through a homemade or purchased filter and poured into glass bottles.
Store the finished cherry plum liqueur in a cool, dark place, but you can start tasting no earlier than 2 weeks later.
Cherry plum liqueur with plum
Ingredients
Cherry plum - 1.5 kg
Plum - 600 g

Honey - 100 g
Vodka - 500 ml

Wash the cherry plum thoroughly, remove spoiled berries and dry it a little. Wash the plum and remove the seeds as well
Put the prepared plum and cherry plum in a glass container, cover with sugar and let it brew for 14 days in a dark place at room temperature, remembering to shake the contents of the container every 3 days.
After the specified time, pour the plum and cherry plum syrup into another container, and pour the berries with the alcohol base and add honey (cherry plum and plum should be completely covered with liquid). Insist 2 weeks in a cool, dark place, and store the syrup in the refrigerator.
After 14 days, strain the tincture through a sieve and mix it with plum and cherry plum syrup.
Filter the finished cherry plum liqueur through a purchased or homemade filter and pour into glass bottles.
Let it stand for 5-7 days in a cool place before tasting. It is best to store the finished product in the refrigerator. If a precipitate falls out, then you need to repeat step 5.
Liqueur from cherry plum with double alcohol
