Cherry liqueur: 4 recipes at home

Cherry liqueur at home is very aromatic and of medium strength.
Cherry liqueur can be made using an alcoholic base or through natural fermentation.

Classic sweet cherry liqueur
Ingredients
Cherries - 2 kg
Granulated sugar - 800 g
Water - 250 ml
The method of preparation
Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and seeds.
Put the prepared berries with granulated sugar in layers in a glass container and at the very end, pour water over everything.
Place a water seal or a clean glove with a small hole in the finger on the container and transfer to a sunny place for natural fermentation for 3 weeks.
As soon as the fermentation process is over, filter the liquor through a purchased or homemade filter and repeat this procedure again after 3 days.
Pour the finished cherry liqueur into glass bottles and store in a cool, dark place.
Cherry liqueur with vodka
Ingredients
Sweet cherries - 1 kg
Vodka - 2 л
Water - 400 ml
Granulated sugar - 500 g
Method of preparation
Wash the cherries, remove the stems and pits.
Put the prepared berries in a glass container, pour the alcohol base and water. Let it stand for 10 days in a dark place at room temperature.
After the specified time, strain the sweet cherry tincture and leave it in the kitchen cabinet for a while.
Put the alcoholized berries back into a glass container, cover with granulated sugar, stir and cover with gauze. Let it stand for a week in a warm, dark place.
After 7 days, strain the juice and squeeze the berries well.
Mix the cherry tincture with the juice and let it stand for another 1 day. Then we filter the finished liquor through a purchased or homemade filter and pour it into glass bottles.
Before tasting, the liqueur must be infused for 120 days in a dark place.
Honey liqueur made from cherries
Ingredients
Sweet cherries - 1 kg
Alcohol - 1 liter
Vodka - 750 ml
Honey - 1 liter
Cloves, cinnamon, vanilla - 1 g each
The method of preparation
Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and pits.
Put the prepared berries in a glass container, add spices and pour the alcoholic base. Let it brew for 1 month in a sunny place.
After 4 weeks, strain the tincture into another container and leave for a while.
Pour honey over the cherries, cover the glass container with cheesecloth and leave it in a sunny place for another month.
After the specified time, carefully strain the honey syrup and mix it with the cherry tincture. Insist 1 day in a dark place.
After a day, filter the finished sweet cherry liqueur through a purchased or homemade filter and pour it into glass bottles.
Insist 3-4 months before tasting and store in a cool, dark place.
Cherry liqueur with nutmeg
Ingredients
Sweet cherries - 1 kg
Vodka - 400 ml of liqueur
Granulated sugar - 250 g
Nutmeg - 1 g
Cinnamon - 1 g
Chilled sugar syrup - 150 г
The method of preparation
Wash the sweet cherries, remove the stalks and mash them a little without removing the pits.
Put the prepared berries in a glass container and leave for 3 days in a dark place at room temperature.
After 3 days, add spicy spices, granulated sugar to the cherries and pour the alcoholic base. Shake thoroughly and let it stand for 7 days in a warm, dark place.
After the specified time, strain the liqueur, add sugar syrup and filter the sweet cherry drink through a purchased or homemade filter.
Pour the finished product into glass bottles and store in a cool, dark place.
