The classic recipe for coffee syrup

Ingredients

  1. Ground coffee - 4 tbsp.

  2. Sugar - 200 g

  3. Water - 400 ml

The method of preparation

  1. Pour 4 tablespoons of ground coffee into a saucepan, pour 400 ml of water, mix thoroughly and put on fire.

  2. Bring coffee to a boil and cook over medium heat for a few minutes.

  3. Turn off and let stand for a while to settle the sediment.

  4. Carefully pour the finished mixture into a bowl so that the thicker part remains at the bottom of the pan.

  5. Pour 200 grams of sugar into a saucepan with a thick bottom, put on a small fire and, without stirring, bring the sugar to a caramelized state.

  6. Pour in the coffee and stirring occasionally, boil over medium heat until the syrup has a thick consistency, it will take about 20-25 minutes.

  7. You can determine the readiness by dropping a drop in water, if it remains a drop and does not spread, the syrup is ready.

  8. Put the finished syrup in the refrigerator, guaranteed shelf life - 2 weeks.
