Coconut syrup: 3 recipes at home

Coconut syrup is made from a mixture of sugar syrup and coconut milk or coconut flakes, boiled down to the consistency of syrup. And it is usually used in a cocktail bar.
Coconut syrup recipe from milk
Ingredients from milk
Water - 200 ml
Coconut milk - 500 ml
Sugar - 250 g
The method of preparation
Prepare the base syrup in a saucepan and add coconut milk, then mix well.
Bring the mixture to a boil again and boil for about 2-3 minutes.
Allow the syrup to cool and pour it into sterile containers while still warm and close the lid tightly. Store in the refrigerator, guaranteed shelf life approx. 2 months.
Coconut syrup recipe from flakes
Ingredients
Water - 500 ml
Coconut flakes - 300 g
Sugar - 500 g
Method of preparation
Prepare the base syrup and add coconut flakes to it.
Bring to a boil over medium heat and remove from heat. Let it cool in a saucepan + leave for several hours. The mixture will be very thick, as if without liquid.
Dump the chips on a sieve and squeeze. Syrup will collect at the bottom.
You can also hang the finished chips in cheesecloth and collect the syrup. For faster assembly, you can squeeze it by hand.
Pour into containers and store in a well-closed container in the refrigerator for no more than 1 week. This amount of ingredients makes about 400-420 ml.
Coconut syrup recipe from fresh juice
Ingredients
Coconut juice - from 1 coconut
Sugar - 350 g
Water - 200 ml
The method of preparation
Prepare a base syrup from water and sugar.
Pour all the fresh coconut juice into the still warm base syrup.
Boil the syrup for another 2 minutes, then remove the pan from the heat. It's ready!
This coconut syrup has a light aroma and flavor. To make a richer syrup, instead of using the juice of one coconut, you can use the liquid from two or three fruits and evaporate it a little longer, or take milk or chips.
