Scotch Collie whiskey: history and review of the drink

Scottish Collie is a popular scotch with a noble, cheerful sheepdog on the label produced at the factories owned by the legendary Grant family.
The drink is a worthy representative of the "standard" class: this simple blended whiskey, made according to a traditional Scottish recipe, is loved by Russian consumers for its pleasant taste, excellent quality and reasonable price.
The history of Scotch Colly whiskey
William Grant & Sons began its journey in 1887 as a small family distillery in the Fiddich Valley and has grown to become a large company that unites several high-performance distilleries.
Among the best products of the legendary family name are the outstanding Grants blend in triangular bottles, as well as the single malt "Glenfiddich" and "The Balvenie", known to every connoisseur.
A less famous example from the "Grant" collection - Scotch Collie whiskey - is blended and bottled at the subsidiary of Quality Spirits International. The company, founded in the 90s, is engaged not only in mixing and bottling scotch, but also other drinks: gin, bourbon, brandy. QSI's production capacity allows to produce up to 12 million cases of alcohol annually.
The company receives malt components for the creation of the Scottish Collie blend from the best Speyside distilleries, and cereals from Lowland.
According to legend, the name of the drink commemorates the memory of a devoted friend of William Grant. It is said that the faithful collie has repeatedly helped the famous distiller and even saved the company's warehouses from robbers. According to other sources, the owner of the famous dog was the poet Robert Burns, whose poems were highly appreciated by the creator of major brands.
