The history of Fruko Schulz
The Fruko Schulz factory is one of the largest Czech producers of spirits and liqueurs.
In 1898, entrepreneur Moritz Schulz opened the first specialized factory for the production of dessert wines and liqueurs in Austria-Hungary.
Initially, it was a small specialized enterprise with only thirty employees. Later, the company was joined by a brewery located in the same area. The range of products has expanded. The factory operated even during the First and Second World Wars, still producing dessert wines and fruit syrups.
During the nationalization of 1948, the Fruko Schulz factory was taken over by the state, but in 1993 it was returned to the heirs of Moritz Schulz.
They, in turn, began to restore the family business with a complete technical re-equipment of the factory, purchase of equipment to launch new production lines and expand the range of products.
Significant funds were spent on the purchase of the most modern distillation equipment; this allowed us to include strong alcoholic beverages in the range of.
Currently, Fruko Schulz produces more than 100 products. The factory has a well-deserved reputation as one of the leading Czech producers of alcoholic beverages, known to a wide range of consumers for the consistently high quality of its products and reasonable prices.

The alcohol content of all Fruko Schulz absinthes is 70% by volume.
Fruko Schulz Absinthe

The recipe of the authentic Czech absinthe Fruko Schulz Absinth, as well as 100 years ago, is based on wormwood extract, which gives the drink, in addition to its characteristic flavor, a charming emerald color. Mint and other traditional spices and essential oils create a magical combination of flavor and aroma designed to soften the bitterness of wormwood, while anise extract adds a bright, sweet note that distinguishes the best examples of real absinthe. Fruko Schulz Absinth can be served both in the traditional way (with a piece of sugar) and as a basis for cocktails.
Fruko Schulz Absinthe Red

Absinthe of a beautiful ruby red color. The richness of flavor shades with an original pepper note gives the widest possibilities for using Fruko Schulz Absinth Red in cocktails, and coriander brings a warm tone that softens the bitterness of wormwood, a tone.

Fruko Schulz Absinthe Black

This absinthe is interesting for its deep dark color with notes of ripe black currant. The aroma has notes of spices and berries that distinguish this type of absinthe from the classic green absinthe.
The differences in taste and aroma are largely due to the fact that black absinthe uses not only the leaves and inflorescences, but also the roots of the plant. Additional brightness of aroma and taste is given by spicy tones of liquorice.
