The prototype of the first liqueurs is considered to be elixirs made by monks and alchemists since the end of the XIII century. Initially, they were used as medicines, and honey and other sugar-containing ingredients were added to them to interrupt the bitter taste. Over time, this drink was called liqueur.
About Oggi liqueur
The heyday of the liqueur business was the XIX century and it was especially developed in France and Italy. At the end of the 70s, the world was first introduced to emulsion liqueurs, which combined two seemingly incompatible components - alcohol and fresh cream.
And this type of liqueur has become very popular among our domestic producers.
The St. Petersburg company Research Plant Niva LLC was no exception and launched the production of cream liqueurs under the Oggi brand.
The name itself is of Italian origin and means "today". Perhaps this carries a certain message: "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can drink today.".
The line includes four types of liquor. The strength of all drinks is the same and does not exceed 15%.
Oggi Pinot colada - this is a budget replica of the legendary liqueur invented in the Caribbean, with the taste of exotic fruits.
Oggi Strawberry with cream - the taste is very mild and balanced due to the cream, and strawberries give the liqueur a spicy and incredible aroma.
Oggi Pistachios with cream - nuts in tandem with cream create a wonderful aroma and exquisite taste.
Oggi Coffee with cream - Perhaps the most popular flavor in the line, it is very tasty and aromatic. And the only one of all Oji liqueurs that is produced in a volume of 1 liter.
The manufacturer declares that all liqueurs contain only natural ingredients and are made using exclusive Italian technology.
But it is worth noting that the price of the drink is not very high and it contains a significant amount of flavor stabilizers.
Bottle and label
At first glance, you can see that the designers have done a good job on the bottle and label design. The bottle has an elegant shape and is made of frosted glass, which allows you to see the main color of the liquor.
The label is made in black and white colors, which perfectly matches the bottle cap and collar. At the bottom of the label there is a "juicy" image of the main flavor component of the liqueur (coconut and pineapple, strawberry, pistachio and coffee).
The first three liqueurs Pinot Colada, Strawberry with cream and Pistachio with cream are available in 750 ml bottles, and Oggi Coffee with cream, as mentioned above, is available in a 1 liter bottle.
How to drink Oggi liqueur
This drink, like other liqueurs, belongs to dessert drinks and is served exclusively after a feast as a digestif.
It is best to drink the creamy liqueur neat from small liqueur glasses.
It would also not be considered a gross mistake to pour Oji liqueur into a glass and throw in a couple of ice cubes.
Special connoisseurs prefer to drink this drink with a cup of hot tea or aromatic coffee.
But since the alcohol we are considering is very sweet and may seem very cloying to some, it can be perfectly combined with other drinks in club cocktails.
Banana Colada cocktail
Ingredients
Oggi Pinot Colada - 20 ml
White rum - 60 ml
Pineapple juice - 100 ml
Banana - 1 pc.

The method of preparation
Mix all ingredients in a blender with ice.
Pour the contents of the blender into a pre-chilled glass.
When serving, garnish with pineapple and insert a straw.
Strawberry Fuji cocktail
Ingredients
Oggi Strawberry with cream - 60 ml
Rum - 30 ml
Caramel syrup - 20 ml
Cream - 20 ml

Method of preparation
Mix all ingredients in a shaker.
Put ice in a tall glass and pour the contents of the shaker.
Garnish with strawberries when serving.
Pistachio bulldog cocktail
Ingredients
Oggi Pistachios with cream - 55 ml
Chocolate syrup - 10 ml
Milk with minimum fat content - 100 ml
Ice cream - 1 scoop
Grated chocolate - 5 g
Method of preparation
Mix pistachio liqueur, syrup and milk in a shaker.
Pour the contents of the shaker into a tall glass.
When serving, put a scoop of ice cream on top of the cocktail and garnish with grated chocolate.
Cocaine lady liqueur variation

Oggi Coffee with cream - 30 ml
Vodka - 60 ml
Milk - 15 ml

Throw a few ice cubes into the glass.
