Absinthe Dreams: an overview of the taste and brand in brief

Dreams - absinthe, which is produced by the Czech company L’or special drinks. It was created in 1994 by the founders Pavel Varga and Jiri Cerny. Entrepreneurs have started producing high-quality drinks according to old recipes that Varna has collected around the world. The drinks are popular both in their home country, the Czech Republic, and far abroad.

How Dreams absinthe is made

Dreams absinthe is made according to a slightly improved old French recipe, in addition, the process involves maceration technology: the resulting herbal infusion is not subject to distillation, it is simply filtered.

This production mechanism allows to preserve the rich green color, which is obtained due to the presence of wormwood. The drink contains purified alcohol, drinking water, and extracts of plants such as fennel, anise, mint, and others.

Characteristics of absinthe Dreams

The drink is produced in one form. It has a translucent emerald color and 70% strength. The taste is mild with a slight hint of liquorice and a signature bitterness, but not sharp. The pleasant aroma is dominated by anise and spicy tones with a light honey accent.

Connoisseurs of absinthe note that the drink is especially good in cocktails. But it can also be drunk plain, with sugar and ice. The thujone content in alcohol is low, only 10 ml per 1 liter of drink, so after drinking it, a dreamy mood will not pass by, but it will not come to frightening hallucinations.
