The history of Jim Beam
It is believed that Jim Beam is one of the few brands patented more than 200 years ago.
At the end of the XVIII century, the American Jacob Beam built a water mill on the riverbank to process corn kernels for whiskey production.
The alcohol business was gaining momentum every year, and more and more bourbon connoisseurs appeared.
The secret of making whiskey was passed down from generation to generation until Jacob's great-grandson, Jim Beam, became the owner of the production.
Thanks to him, bourbon became the official brand of the same name, and the company continued to operate even during the Prohibition in the United States.
An interesting fact is that in the XXI century, the Jim Beam brand is still run by the descendants of the legendary Jacob.
Seven of the eight wine experts who evaluate the quality of Jim Beam whiskey were his relatives.
