Khortytsia vodka: history, review, types, interesting facts
One of the best-selling Ukrainian premium vodkas is produced in Zaporizhzhia. Khortytsia beverages are characterized by exceptional quality and taste, original design and are supplied to more than 80 countries.
Over the past 5 years, the brand's products have received more than a dozen awards at prestigious international competitions. Since 2008, the trademark has been owned by the Global Spirits holding company.
The history of the brand
Khortytsia Distillery was created under a unique project in the early 2000s and in just 20 years has achieved the title of the leading alcoholic beverage company in Ukraine. The plant was named after the national reserve - a large island on the Dnipro River, located within the city of Zaporizhzhia.
The production capacity of the distillery allows it to produce 16 bottles of vodka per second, and the storage capacity reaches 1 million. liters.
The first batch of vodka rolled off the Zaporizhzhya plant's conveyor at the end of 2003.
Today, the brand's portfolio includes more than 100 recipes.
The most modern technologies are used to produce the drinks, and the quality is controlled in the in-house laboratory. In addition to Ukraine, Khortytsa vodka is produced under license in Russia and Belarus.
Specifics of production
Only the best raw materials are used to create elite vodka: crystal clear alcohol called Finest Wheat and spring water.
The grain base is selected wheat with a small addition of rye and barley.
Before reaching the consumer, the product goes through 7 stages of purification.
To protect against counterfeiting, each product is supplied with several levels of protection.
A special mention should be made of the smart thermobottle Khortytsia ICE, which changes color from white to blue when the optimum drinking temperature is reached (+5 °C).

Ultra-premium segment product, made according to the author's recipe, which harmoniously combines alcohol with cherry flavor and natural cinnamon.
