Vodka - 1 liter
Sugar - 1 kg
The method of preparation
First, each kumquat fruit must be pierced with a toothpick in 2-3 places.
Then put the prepared fruit in a glass container, add sugar and pour the alcoholic base. Insist the drink for 14 days in a dark place and shake the contents daily so that the sugar is completely dissolved.
After two weeks, the liquor must be filtered and bottled.
Now the liquor needs to be infused, for this purpose it is transferred to a dark, cool place and left for 1 month (ideally for 6 months).
You can safely experiment with the alcoholic component and use rum, cognac, brandy, alcohol or moonshine without a strong odor instead of regular vodka.
And do not throw away the alcoholized mini-oranges after infusion, but use them in cooking to make desserts or sauces. You can also eat them as a treat.
