Liqueur made from pears: 4 recipes at home

Liqueur made from pears: 4 recipes at home

Homemade pear liqueur, like the liqueur we talked about earlier, is easy to prepare. But due to certain features of this fruit, the process of maceration (infusion) takes a long time. For the drink to be enriched with the taste and aroma of a ripe pear, it may take five or even all 12 months, taking into account aging.

Also made from pears: liqueurs, cider, Calvados, syrup

Tips before you start

Pear liqueur is one of the few homemade drinks that allows you to experiment with the amount and types of alcohol. Combining and changing the proportions of one alcohol to another.

The most winning combinations are:

  1. Food alcohol and cognac in a ratio of 50:50

  2. Pure alcohol and fruit brandy in a ratio of 50:50

  3. Alcohol and whiskey in a ratio of 50:50

  4. Vodka and white rum in a ratio of 70:30

But all these proportions are conditional and you can experiment, combine and create something new.

Also, to improve the taste, you can replace part of the garden pear with game or sour apples.
