Tincture on propolis: 3 recipes at home

Various types of bee raw materials have long been used to improve health and treat diseases. Propolis is no exception, which is considered a real storehouse of nutrients.

The most valued alcohol tincture is "bee glue", which has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antioxidant, immunomodulatory and other healing properties.

Tincture on medical alcohol

The recipe indicates the ratio of components to obtain a 10% tincture.

If you need 20%, you will need 20 g of propolis and 80 ml of alcohol, respectively.

The solid raw material remaining after decanting can be reused: a less concentrated preparation will be obtained.

When stored in the refrigerator, the tincture retains its properties for up to 4 years, but the most effective is a preparation no older than 1 year.

Ingredients

1. Propolis - 10 g

2. Medical alcohol (70%) - 90 ml

Method of preparation

1. Place propolis in the refrigerator until it reaches a brittle state.

2. After a couple of hours, grind the bee raw material with a grater or hammer (put it in a bag beforehand), optionally grind it in a coffee grinder.

3. Pour the propolis crumbs into a dark glass container, pour alcohol.

4. Close the vessel with a lid, place in the dark for 1.5-4 weeks, shaking occasionally.

5. Filter the finished tincture through cotton wool, pour into a dark container.

Tincture on wine alcohol

Ingredients

1. Wine alcohol - 0.2 liters

2. Propolis - 30 g

Method of preparation

1. Leave the bee glue in the freezer for 1 hour.

2. Cut the hardened propolis into small shavings with a grater.

3. Pour the bee mass into a glass vessel, pour alcohol, stir, tightly seal.

4. Leave the container in the cold for 2 weeks, shaking the contents several times daily.

5. After 14 days, send the tincture to the refrigerator, leave it there for half a day.

6. Filter the finished product through a multilayer gauze filter, pour into a clean container, seal tightly with a lid.

The finished tincture is used internally and externally, for prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal, skin, cardiovascular, respiratory and genitourinary diseases, neurological and dental disorders, it is used for rinses, compresses, rubbing, baths, rinses, etc. д.

Tincture on vodka

This preliminary cleaning technology can be used in other recipes as well.

Ingredients

1. Vodka - 500 ml

2. Propolis - 100 g

The method of preparation

1. Put the bee raw materials in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, grate finely, cover with water.

2. After 5-10 minutes, drain the liquid along with the floating debris.

3. Dry the solid mass, put it in a dark container, pour vodka, mix well.

4. Seal the container, leave in a dark room at room temperature for 2-4 weeks, stirring or shaking regularly.

5. Filter the product, pour into a dark glass container.
