Pisang Ambon

Pisang Ambon liqueur made from a variety of sweet green bananas.
It is usually used not as a separate alcoholic beverage, but as an ingredient, for example, in the preparation of the Flying Dutchman, Green Mexican, Green Mexican Shadow, Blue Temptation, Julie and other cocktails. The strength is 20%.
The liqueur got its name thanks to the island of the Dutch colony of Ambon and the word Pisang, which means "banana" in Malaysia. This drink was made according to an old Indonesian liqueur recipe. Its main ingredient is green bananas from the island of Ambon.
For a long time, the liquor could not find its application due to its strong sweetness. It later gained popularity when bartenders started experimenting with it. The sweetness of this drink goes well with some popular cocktail ingredients.
