About the Larios brand

Larios Dry gin is a multinational drink: it is made in Spain according to an English recipe at the suggestion of a French entrepreneur.

A brief history of the brand

The unique product began its journey to the consumer in 1886, when the Frenchman Charles Lamothe and his Spanish partner Fernando Jimenez founded the joint company "Jimenez" in Malaga & Lamothe Company". The company was engaged in the production of brandy, wines, liqueurs and other alcohol.

In 1916, the company was sold to the Marquis de Larios, who began to use his surname as the name for the company and the gin produced. This is how the Larios Dry Gin brand was born, which later became famous all over the world.

The new owner paid special attention to the authentic design of the bottles, which made the Spanish drink instantly recognizable to fans.

By the 80s, Larios gin became the most popular in Spain, and in the 90s it conquered foreign markets.
