Cognac Manet: history, types, how to distinguish a fake + how to drink

The cognac of this brand belongs to the aged Armenian brandies and is produced by the Proshyansky Cognac Factory

History of production

In 1885, a well-known businessman Abgar Proshyan established a cognac factory in Armenia with the latest European equipment.

During the Soviet era, the company was known as the Ararat Trust, which, for its part, made changes to the recipe for the production of cognacs.

In 1987, Armen Gasparyan took over as General Director, and during his thirty-year tenure he brought the Proshian Cognac Factory to a new level. The company has become one of the three main producers of Armenian brands.

To ensure reliable control of its products, the plant grows vines on its own vineyards.

Later, the alcohol was exported to many countries, such as Greece, Russia, the USA, South Korea, and the supply borders are constantly growing and expanding.

Cognacs in souvenir bottles are especially popular. Folk craftsmen blow glass bottles according to ancient traditions, their exclusive works are known all over the world.

The products manufactured at the plant are endowed with a bouquet of special flavors and mild taste with a long-lasting aftertaste.

  3. The original cognac has a barcode on the back label with the initial digits "485" (the product is made in Armenia).

  4. When shaking the bottle, droplets of the drink should flow smoothly down the walls of the container.

How and with what to drink Manet cognac

Like most types of cognac, the drink is served at a temperature ranging from 18 to 20 degrees in a snifter glass.

A drink that is too chilled will not allow you to fully enjoy the wonderful and unique taste of the drink, and a drink that is too hot will be quite strong and scorching.

The whole essence of the drink is ideally revealed when consumed in small sips, rolling the burning liquid through the mouth.

Do not look back at the French and completely abandon snacks, as you can quickly get drunk. Therefore, the best combination is with fruit slices, chocolate, cheese, smoked red fish.

Due to its versatile lineup, Mane cognac is actively used by many bartenders to prepare a variety of cocktails.
