Overview of absinthe

Czech absinthe St. Antoine is created by slow distillation of a special set of herbs, in particular wormwood and wormwood of Pontus. It is characterized by 100% natural composition. The basis of this absinthe is a neutral high-quality grain alcohol, in which herbs are infused for a certain period. After its completion, the future drink is distilled and receives a second portion of herbs that enhance its taste and give it a specific color.

Absinthe has an olive green color with an amber tint. The taste of absinthe is expressive and delicate, with tones of wormwood, mint, anise and spicy herbs. The aroma is intense, herbal, dominated by tones of hyssop, veronica and wormwood.

Unfortunately, there is no official information about the thujone content in the drink, but judging by the composition, some amount of thujone is still present, and the canonical strength of 70% by volume. allows you to keep all the most valuable things in this absinthe. About the producer

Founded in 2000, Zusy, a family-owned fruit and bee farm, processes fruit and honey and produces high-quality fruit distillates, liqueurs and honey drinks under the Zufanek brand. The company was created by the spouses Marcela and Josef Zufanek, who are assisted by their sons Martin, Josef and Jan. The farm is located in the small town of Borsice in Blatnice in the Zlín region.

The family-owned orchards cover 15 hectares in the Moravian Slovak region at an altitude of 340 meters above sea level. This region is characterized by an excellent microclimate suitable for growing fruit trees. The exposure of the site is southeast and southwest, the soils are black earth, medium heavy, the average annual rainfall is 730 mm. Fruit is processed using modern technologies and equipment.

Žufanek drinks are characterized by fresh taste and rich aroma, which reflects the terroir of the foothills of the White Carpathians reserve. All products are made mainly from own raw materials according to original proven recipes, without artificial colors, flavors and additives.
