Absinthe Green Ghost: a guide to alcohol

Overview of Green Ghost absinthe
Green Ghost, according to Vzboltai, is an unsuccessful replica of the famous Suicide absinthe brand from the Czech company Hill's. The similarity of the bottles in the form of a skull cannot be an accident.
The Ukrainian analog has a weak aroma and taste of wormwood, which is clearly dominated by anise. Vzboltai was unable to find official information on the amount of thujone, so this alcohol should not be considered real absinthe in fact.
Alcohol content: 60% vol.
About the manufacturer
Zolotonosha Distillery "Zlatogor" is the oldest enterprise in the Ukrainian alcoholic beverage industry. It was founded in 1896 by entrepreneur Rosnishevsky and has been preserving the traditions of vodka craftsmanship for over a hundred years.
The plant is located in the picturesque town of Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region, on the banks of the river of the same name, the left tributary of the Dnipro River. There are many beautiful legends about the origin of the name of this beautiful land. One of them says that in ancient times gold was mined here. Geophysicists have confirmed this legend by discovering precious metal ions in the local soil. Thus, "golden" soil filters simultaneously purify and enrich local spring water with gold ions. This is the secret of the uniqueness of Zolotonosha "living water".
Over the centuries, the company's specialists have developed a huge archive of alcoholic beverage recipes with the mandatory addition of tinctures of medicinal herbs and the use of unique water.
Today, the plant produces more than 50 types of alcoholic beverages: vodka, bitter tinctures, sweet tinctures, balsams. Thanks to the unique natural resources of the Zolotonosha region, the use of selected components, unique recipes, and careful adherence to modern technologies, the products manufactured at the plant are of high quality and have unique properties.
