Sabellaria tincture: 2 recipes at home

A nondescript marsh plant with long grassy stems and rare dark flowers has a lot of healing properties. Saber tincture is used to strengthen the immune system, heal wounds, relieve itching, fever, inflammation, stimulate metabolism and blood flow, and improve digestion.
It is used to treat intervertebral hernias, sciatica, thyroid disorders, women's diseases and joint damage.
Tips before you start

The tincture of the rhizome of the plant is most often made with alcohol or vodka, but the inflorescences, stems and leaves also have medicinal properties. They contain a large amount of vitamin C and minerals.

The rhizome is harvested in early spring or late autumn, digging up parts located shallowly, parallel to the ground.
The aboveground mass is harvested in mid-July, at the beginning of flowering.

Tincture of saberwort classic
The resulting product is taken orally 1 tbsp. 1 tbsp. a spoonful three times a day before or during meals with clean water. It is also used for rubbing and compresses of affected joints and skin areas. In a similar way, you can prepare a tincture from mixed raw materials: roots and leaves.

Finely chop the pre-washed and dried rhizome, put it in a half-liter glass container.

Pour the plant mass with alcohol, cover, let it brew for 2-3 weeks, shaking occasionally.
Express tincture of saberwort
Using an accelerated recipe, you can prepare a medicinal product in just a week. Fresh roots should be washed and dried well, then cut into pieces up to 1 cm long.
