Wormwood tinctures: 4 recipes at home

Infusions and decoctions based on wormwood have long been used as a healing agent: to relieve intestinal disorders and women's diseases, as an antidote in case of poisoning, diuretic and tonic. Due to the strong bitterness, drinks from this herb are not particularly pleasant to drink, so it is often mixed with other substances.
Wine tincture of wormwood
Drink with caution: no more than 100 grams per day. The infusion tones up the digestive system well.
Ingredients
Dry wormwood leaves - 30 g
Alcohol - 60 g
White wine - 100 g
The method of preparation
Put the herb in a vessel, pour alcohol, let it brew for 1 day.
Pour in wine, leave to mature for 10 days, filter.
Wormwood tincture "Ordinary"
Products made on the basis of wormwood roots are used to improve appetite and in the complex treatment of tuberculosis: 1 tablespoon per day. To soften the taste, you can add a little honey to the infusion.
Ingredients
Wormwood root - 30 g
White wine - 0.5 liters
The method of preparation
Pour wine over the roots, boil for 10 minutes, sweeten with honey if desired.
Let it brew until the broth cools down, strain.
Wormwood tincture with anise
Ingredients
Young wormwood tops - ¼ of the volume of a liter bottle
Anise seeds - 100 g
Sugar - 30 g
Vodka - 1 liter
Method of preparation
Put the wormwood and anise in a container, pour in the vodka, seal the bottle.
Let stand for a couple of weeks in the warmth.
Pass the drink through a cloth, sweeten with sugar.
Tincture of wormwood "Calming"
Wormwood can be used both dried and fresh. To eliminate nervous tension and stabilize mood, drink the drink twice a day, 10-20 drops before meals. To activate digestion, improve appetite and intestinal function, wormwood tincture is mixed with mint, prepared in the same way, and taken three times a day, 15-20 drops.

Sugar - 50 g
The method of preparation
Grind the herbs, put them in a jar, pour in vodka, and seal the lid.
