Homemade cherry liqueur
The recipe for this drink does not involve the use of sugar syrup, which will make it less labor-intensive and at the same time quite strong.
List of ingredients
Fresh or frozen cherries - 225 g
Granulated sugar - 225 g
Vodka or brandy or cognac - 480 ml
The method of preparation
Wash fresh or thawed berries, separate the cuttings and cut them from the top right down to the bone.
Then put them in a liter jar, cover them with granulated sugar and pour alcohol (respectively, if you, for example, decide to prepare a drink in a 3 liter jar, you should triple the amount of all the above components).
After that, the jar should be closed with a tight lid and put in a dark place for three months.
At the final stage, the drink is carefully filtered through thick cheesecloth and finally bottled.
Cherry liqueur on vodka with pink peppercorns
If you like spicy drinks, you can add a few pink peppercorns to the previous recipe made with vodka just before infusing (if the proportions are designed for a three-liter container, the amount of pepper can be brought up to a teaspoon).
Cherry liqueur on alcohol
According to many connoisseurs of the genre, high-quality food alcohol is the most suitable alcohol base for cherries.
List of ingredients
Fresh or frozen cherries - 1 kg
Granulated sugar - 1 kg
Water - 500 ml
Alcohol - 1 liter
The method of preparation
Rinse the cherries, separate from the cuttings, mash and place in a three-liter jar without a pit.
Crush about half of the available cherry pits, add to the berries and cover with alcohol.
Close the container and put it in a cool, dark place for three weeks.
After the expiration of the mentioned period, filter the contents of the jar through a thick cheesecloth and mix with chilled with sugar syrup.
Bottle the resulting liquid and return to a dark place for two to three months for final maturation.
Cherry liqueur on moonshine
In principle, other alcohol bases (from food alcohol to numerous varieties of brandy) are also suitable for this recipe, but the general consensus is that homemade grain distillate gives it a special identity.
List of ingredients
Sorted cherries - 500-600 g
Granulated sugar - 1 kg
Water - 1 liter
Moonshine (40-45 degrees) - 2 liters
Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
The method of preparation
Wash, pit and throw the cherries in a saucepan with water.
Boil and keep for a quarter of an hour over low heat.
Then you need to cool the contents of the pan, filter the liquid and add sugar to it.
Put on the fire again and stir until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved, remembering to skim off the foam (if you prefer sweeter drinks, you can increase the amount of sugar up to two kg).
After that, the resulting syrup is cooled again, mixed with moonshine and citric acid.
Then, the drink is bottled and kept in a cool, dark place for three months to one year (in this case, your endurance and self-control will be the decisive factor).
Old World cherry liqueur with vodka and cognac

Cherries - 600 g
Brandy or cognac - 480 ml
Vodka - 240 ml
Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp.
Sugar syrup - 120 ml
Zest - 1/2 lemon
The method of preparation
Wash the berries and get rid of the cuttings. Cut half of the cherries from the top up to the bone, chop the other half with a toothpick (5-6 punctures per berry).
Put all the cherries in a liter jar, add powdered sugar and wait for it to dissolve.
Then shake the jar, add all the alcohol and lemon zest.
After that, keep the closed container in a dark, warm place for a month and a half.
Then filter the liquid, squeeze the cherries into it through a thick cheesecloth and add the cooled sugar syrup.
Mix the resulting substance thoroughly, bottle it and send it to a cool, dark place for one to two weeks.
Quick cherry liqueur
Active tasting of this not quite traditional version of the cherry drink can begin immediately after its preparation. However, if you want to get a really tasty homemade cherry liqueur, we strongly recommend not to break the mold and let the drink rest for at least a few months.

Vodka - 1 liter
Water - 1 liter
Citric acid - 1.5 tsp.
The method of preparation
This drink is prepared in the same way as moonshine version, however, there are a number of differences. Firstly: the berries are cooked together with the washed leaves, and secondly: citric acid is added to the substance while the sugar is dissolving.
It should also be noted that the amount of cherries specified in the recipe can be replaced with a kilogram of any other berry. For example, a very popular liqueur from chokeberry with cherry leaves. Although, as we have already said, cherry leaves are a spicy and healthy addition not only to drinks made from cherries or chokeberries themselves.
Recipe for cherry pitted liqueur
Ingredients
Cherry pits - 10 pcs.
Vanilla stick - 1/2 pc.
Sugar - 250 g
Water - 100 ml
Rum - 300 ml
Red dry wine - 500 ml
White dry wine - 100 ml
The method of preparation
Crush the cherry pits, put them in a bottle, pour rum, white and red wine.
To prepare sugar syrup, add half a vanilla stick to it and pour everything into a bottle with the rest of the ingredients.
Put the bottle, sealed with a rubber cork, in a dark place for 6 weeks and shake it every 2 days. Then strain and bottle.
Spicy cherry liqueur
Ingredients
Cherries - 2 kg
Sugar - 1 kg
Cloves - 6-7 buds
Vanilla sugar - 2 sachets
Cinnamon, nutmeg - to taste (start with pinches)
Fresh cherry leaves - 6 pcs.
Vodka - 750 ml
The method of preparation
Rinse ripe cherries, remove stems and pits.
Pour the peeled cherries into a wide-mouthed bottle or jar and cover with sugar.
Add cherry leaves, cloves, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste and shake.
Keep the bottle in the sun for 8-10 days, shaking it daily, then add strong vodka and put it in a dark place.
After 4-5 weeks, strain the liquor and bottle it.
Cherry and fig liqueur
Ingredients
Cherries - 2 kg
Figs - 3 kg
Sugar - 500 g
Cinnamon - 1 tbsp.
Orange - 1 pc.
Lemon - 1 pc.
Almonds - 20 g
Clove bud - 3 pcs.
Vodka - 2 liters
Method of preparation
Do not forget that imported orange and lemon are waxed, so you need to scald citrus fruits with boiling water , and then wipe them thoroughly with a clean towel or dry napkins.
Rinse cherries and figs, put them in an eight-liter jar, add cinnamon, cloves, lemon and orange zest, sugar and chopped almonds.
Stir well and put in the sun for 1.5 months.
Then strain, mix with vodka, bottle and cork.
